Rupestris Penedès White Blend

Used it to cook with and drank along side. Perfect summer wine, mineral with a little bit of teeth. — 3 years ago

Blau Cru Malvasia 2018

The acidity on this absolutely rips—was not expecting that. Saline, citrus, olive brine, yellow stone fruit, stony, much more linear and taut than I was expecting from a Malvasia — 3 years ago

Ermanno Costa (Cascina Spagnolo)

Barbera d'Alba 2016

2016 vintage labeled Superiore and DOC, grapes from the Piedmont region. Medium bodied. Bright sour cherry flavor, red licorice aroma, very little tannin and a touch of herbs in the finish when first opened. This wine gets better as it rests. It gains body and tannin and is less bright. You would be lucky to have this as your everyday wine. The cherry flavor reminds me of a delicious wine from Pardas Cellars using the Sumoll varietal native to Catalonia. — 3 years ago

Collita Roja Penedès Sumoll Marselan

Old vine sumoll and a little marselan. A little reductive at first, but quickly came into its own. Complex and rich, likeable. — 9 years ago
