I wish more Zinfandel could be made like this. While this is just a baby, it’s already delivering so much pleasure. Very primary with bright red fruits and spices. Good acid. Long finish. A few years in the cellar will do these wonders and there’s no reason to doubt the Bedrock bottle will have the ability to age gracefully for well over a decade. Delicious. I believe grapes are from Seven Hills Vineyard in Walla Walla AVA, though the wine is labeled Columbia Valley. I like that Seven Hills emphasizes healthy soil biology and plants alternate rows of flowers amongst the vineyards as habitat for beneficial insects. — 11 years ago
