Stunningly good and a bit underrated on this app. I snagged 3 bottles from MCF Rare Wine since this will no longer be distributed in NYC :( Very Chianti Classico and very rich on the nose. Dark fruits transition to bright, juicy, ripe cherry. Minerals and dried herbs on a veeerrry long finish. Really delicious and an honest, no fuss expression of Sangiovese. 14% abv, organic. I’ll have to resist opening the last 2 bottles. — 3 months ago
Mix of berries plums and cherries. Full wine with a constrained frame of tannins. Plush and carnal. Very good! — 4 years ago
Just back from the winery and this showed up at home. — 6 years ago
Deep and complex with notes of chocolate and tobacco. Went on a fascinating tour of the winery! — 8 months ago
Chocolatey, leathery mouth feel with mainly dark cherry from a fruit perspective. A tiny little spice on the back with a touch of nutmeg. Paired well with Goulash Di Manzo (short rib stew over polenta with mushrooms). — 9 months ago
Vermentino with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. Interesting apricot, ripe pear and banana aromas and flavors. Saline and mineral notes on the finish. Very well balanced. — 5 years ago

Underripe blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose. Accents include shoe leather, mushroom, and forest floor. Grippy tannins, great length, with lingering blackberry and boysenberry. Fairly high EtOH. — a month ago
