This is excellent Pinot Noir that is absolutely true to the grape and the region in which it is produced. For a lesser price Oregon Pinot, this absolutely competes with many of the more expensive and well known producers products. Classic Pinot Noir nose, body and flavors with predominant cherry raspberry coming through nicely and even the color is right. Definitely better than most anything from California. Dark garnet color. Aromas of raspberry, dark chocolate, purple flowers and bacon. Raspberry and cherry fruit flavors are highlighted with Asian spices, and black pepper. Note of crushed rock on the medium finish. Velvety tannins and plush. Pretty good. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 8 months ago
