Line 39 California Pinot Grigio 2018

Oh hey! Line39. I keep wanting to ignore them but they keep overdelivering on price point and right now if I can tell you a good budget friendly thang to find at Whole Foods...here for that. It has a bunch of that yeasty lees-y honeyed fruit richness but a refreshing acid and...damn I am enjoying this wine also it goes well with cheesy-ness on bread aka white pizza. Also I get a hint of beer and peanut shell but blinded, what would I think this was? Maybe okay maybe a pinot Grigio but an old world one. I don’t know if there are manipulations on this wine but it has a good balance and taste. I like. — 5 years ago

Petit Batard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2011

Hitting its stride nearing peak drinking window. Great nose and complexity on the palate with dark fruit, well integrated tannins, and a long finish. Black cherry, blackberry, plum, cranberry, coffee, chocolate, hint of vanilla. $45 at total — 4 years ago

Maloy O'Neill Vineyards

Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

My buddy went deep in his stash. He used to work here. 140 cases made of this gem. Known more for their Syrah this cab/merlot/ cab franc had a lot going on. — 7 years ago

California Organic Red Blend 2015

This is actually for a Pinot noir not a red blend. More full body and fruit then you'd expect for a Pinot. Very light on aroma. Juicy medium dark cherry flavor. — 8 years ago

Rocks of Bawn

Yamhill Carlton Pinot Noir 2018

This is Rocks of Bawn willamette valley, yamhill carlton, Pinot noir. Not what this site claimed. I believe this is by the O'neill family, of Owen Roe fame. A fresh &fun take on this ubiquitous varietal. — 4 years ago
