Solid wine. Very good nose of oak and red fruits, you can somehow sense it's a wine with some class and age. It has a warm and full palate, with long lingering finish. It has a good bite and aroma on its own. — 4 years ago
From a magnum. Still lots of youth in this. — 8 years ago
Amazing balanced wine, flavors layers and open up later in the after taste — 4 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Strong nose of black currants, cherries, sweet strawberries, light oak, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, earth, herbs, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, chocolates, coffee, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, oak, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a nice surprise. This 7 year old Tempranillo from Spain is drinking very nicely now.
Nicely balanced and tangy, with a nice mouthfeel. Fruit forward and enjoyable by itself or with food.
This 100% Tempranillo is good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (30 minutes), and shows some tannins. Becomes very tangy on the mid palate, after 2 hours in the decanter.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of cheeses and light appetizers.
14% alcohol by volume.

2018 vintage. 100% Tempranillo. Big and slightly rustic. 100% French Oak. It was a closeout and offered to me at the resto price of under $10. Can't take advantage of it for the list as it's too inexpensive but as a daily drinker/porch pounder, hell yes. Tempted to buy 10 cases of it for the staff to enjoy till October. 5.15.24. — 6 months ago
