A very solid wine for being so young. We had the 2020 vintage. Pear and lemon, a bit of vanilla overtones. This wine can stand up being combined with red meat and pork. Rideau is famous for their Viognier wines, so the winemaker knows how to put it all together. — 3 years ago

"Odedi"
Reddish in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nice nose of red and black fruits with earth, light wood, spices, coffee and dark chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Fruit forward and dry on the palate with black fruits, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, dark chocolates, earth and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This delicious red blend from Santa Barbara County is drinking very nicely now. Nicely balanced with nice complexity. Elegant and spicy.
I had this vintage 5 years ago, and decided to give it more time in the bottle to mature. Showing much more complexity now, than the last time I had it.
Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
I did not decant it this time, and let it open up in the bottle. After 3 hours of airtime, more red fruits show up.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with burger and fries.
A blend of 35% Syrah, 25% Mourvedre, 21% Grenache and 19% Petite Sirah. Aged in used French oak barrels for 22 months.
14.1% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
