Structured approachable Barolo. Excellent on a wintery night with salmon in Palo Alto — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 2 months ago
Fresh unfiltered funky rawness. The kind I like! — 7 months ago
Transparent ruby red. Mint. Oak, black currant. Slight earthy. Smoky. A bit sweet cherry. Tannic and acidic.

At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Excellent, silky yet firm texture with complexity and potential for aging. — a month ago
