this app totally sucks I just spent 30 minutes composing a long essay about how fabulous the wine is my history with it etc. etc. etc. I switched to look something up on safari to wrap up the essay and when I came back everything was gone so if I feel like it at some point all we do this but at the moment I am so pissed off at the delectable bozos who can't figure out how to make this thing work properly please somebody tell me another app that we can use that won't suck so deeply and long as this one — 3 years ago

From a corner of Chianti near Siena* https://www.google.com/search?q=Barberino-Tavarnelle&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari (I believe) a family member nee Fontodi has a small bio/dynamic operation. Very old school.
N: Roses, Cherries, red fruits, dirt, green herbs, pepper…. Nice!
P: Quite umami, red fruits, slight licorice, dirt again, nimble at 13.5° Good blind choice. Shame I only bought 2.

2022/5/15 with shellfish porchetta, straw-seared bonito carpaccio, etc. Lemon meringue tart, cold butter, iodine and peat smoke on the nose; the palate follows suit, with a nice blend of mineral, acid and sweet fruit elements. In my most recent safari of (relatively) reasonably priced white Burgundies, this is a good one. — 3 years ago

Well balanced with endless layers of dark, dry fruit, Cuban cigar, cider, and clove. A fifteen year old Cab driven blend will great vibrancy and intensity. Vergelegen is a beautiful wine estate/farm in South Africa, between Stellenbosch and Somerset. You can tour the hundreds of acres Estate in a landrover like a safari. Fantastic visit!! Talking about visits…we, Spoken Wines, are packing our bags again and start another journey finding wine diamonds in the rough and tell their stories. Not in South Africa this time, but Argentina and Chile! Find us on Instagram to follow our journey. Question: any recommendations for Chile wineries to visit?? We will be in the Aconcagua Valley north of Santiago and in the Rapel Valley south of Santiago. I am not very familiar with Chile and would love to get some recommendations to reach out to. 🙏🙏 — a month ago
