Salustri DOC 2010, 14%. Organic wine from a 50 years old vineyard. Excellent color. The wood is still very perceptible to the nose, but so are fresh red fruits. Rich in the mouth, slightly too alcoholic, but it is still very young. 89/100 — 11 years ago
Intense fruit and slightly spicy surprise. Delicious — 7 years ago
Excellent Sangiovese from Tuscany — 10 years ago
Almost a cross between Pinot noir and Nebbiolo. Juicy fruit on the nose, pretty grippy on the palette. — 7 years ago
Montecucco DOC 2007, 14%. Organic wine from a 50 years old vineyard, produced in limited quantities, only when all conditions are excellent. Fermented in oak barrels, aged in wood for 24 months, and refined in the bottle for 24 months. Great color. Nose rich of cooked red fruits, a little hint of vanilla. In the mouth is very rich and almost sweet, round, extremely well made. For me the wood is a little too perceivable, even is the tannins are super smooth 89/100 — 11 years ago
