Gorgeous and very precise nose of some spicey oak, mid season cherries that have insane clarity. Unreal sous bois underneath. Super classy nose. Just singing. Love 21. Real aromatic substance and layering here. Gorgeous clean laundry aromas as well as spice and some flowers. Palate is very young on the PNP but as it airs it will come together and flesh out. So pure and precise with glorious fruit of the mid season cherry kind. Can’t wait to see this unfurl. Oak also a a bit much on the palate but Garaudet’s wines always need mega air. I will be back! Oh wow air has gotten this all sorts of delicious. Unreal finesse and sweetness. So focused. — 4 days ago

Nose starts off with a bit of VA, dried leaves and some gorgeously pure cherry fruit that needs some air to reveal itself more. Great stoney minerality as well with some major florals. Gorgeous. Haunting. Palate is very 21 and a bit backwards out of the gates but the freshness, purity of the fruit and length indicate this will open up into something stunning. 9.4 now. Really fleshed out with air and has that nimble, impossible elegant 21 character with just perfect but restrained early season cherry fruit. Outstanding length and texture. 9.4 to .9.5 with an hour of air. — 24 days ago

Wow what a stunning nose. Just unreal clean and very high toned mid season cherry. Like a cherry bomb. Just the essence of cherry. Drop dead stunning. It’s insane how pure this is. 9.6 nose but can go higher. Oh my god. Cherry flower beyond. Almost a Sangiovese like Pergole Torte effect. Stunning. Some citrus rind and white tea as well. Palate is so elegant and just stunningly pure. So juicy and clean with gorgeous cherries but seems to be holding back but my goodness is this a superb wine with top top finesse. Florent has arrived with his reds. They were always good but wow they are top 1% now. — 2 months ago

Gorgeous nose. Unreal vivid cherry. Sawdust. Loads of stones and rocks. Super pure and so nimble. Loads of spice and flowers. Wow what a palate. Super elegant but has that rustic Monthelie charm. Also a lovely meatiness on the nose is developing with air. Needs air but man is this meaty, floral, sweet and super deep. Like a baby Clos Des Chenes which it abuts. Terrific energy and transparency. Big tannins need air to calm down. With air this is getting so elegant and it’s just teeming with energy! Wow Florent has killed 21! Overnight this gained in body and sweetness but still had some unresolved structure but man that finesse is there. — a month ago
