The Kindeli wines from Alex Craighead require at least a decent understanding of natural wine and wine faults. These are beautifully crafted rustic wines usually polarized by oxidation or reduction. Verano is of the latter group, a fire cracker red blend of aromatic whites, all unrecognizable and heavily influenced by native yeast and mild to moderate skin contact. It has a grainy matzah meal aroma that mixes to concentrated tart citrus - full bodied, all full of sunshine too. — 5 years ago
