Expressive Bordeaux blend from …. Valle de Guadeloupe! Brought it home when we were traveling there. They are making great wines in Baja California region but interestingly very difficult, if not impossible to get in the US. Paralelo 31 was recommended by several. They are part of a larger project. No dedicated tasting room. Lot of upfront dark earthy expressive fruit. A bit tart on the finish. — 10 days ago

Aromas slightly similar to sauterne (that noble rot smell) bit with candied orange peel, a big body with sweet mandarin oranges in the syrup juice bit with some acid to cut through. My kind of dessert wine! — 7 months ago

Lots of sediment. Decanted and was tightly wound for almost two hours. While waiting we opened a bottle of 04 Massolino Vigna Rionda Barolo which was 🎶 singing right from the get go! Then came back to this 83 and it had definitely developed into a great bottle almost bigger in style than the Barolo who would have guessed 🤷‍♂️ — 9 months ago
