100% Mencia. Dark berry fruit aromas with a high concentration of violets. Bright dark fruit flavors with a note of pie dough and oak. Beautiful smooth texture. Rich and bold. Great expression of this unheralded but outstanding varietal. Thanks for sharing, Petey! — 4 years ago
Very pale Provence-style rosé from old Garnacha vines in Gredos, one of the hottest regions for Garnacha in Spain. Vineyards are planted on granite and sandy soils, at over at 2,500 ft. in the village of Cebreros (which lends its name to the newly-established Cebreros appellation, where Soto Manrique is emerging as a key player). Fermented in concrete vats, with no skin contact, blanc-de-noir style. Lean, light-bodied, with subtle aromas of red fruit, strawberry, cherry and herbs. Zesty acidity. — 5 years ago

Riktigt galant sommarvin laddad med generös fruktighet. Lättdrucken utan att vara för tunn. Småpartierna. — 5 years ago

Another vintage of an interesting and unusual white version of Tempranillo. Dark golden color. Aromas of melon, white flowers and dried grass. Flavors of cantaloupe, raw almonds and pie dough. Nice touch of chalky minerality on the long finish. Crisp acidity with a viscous and creamy texture. Medium bodied and excellent length. Totally food friendly. Outstanding quality for the price. — 5 days ago
