Celebrating the Brisbane Lions winning the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon over the Sydney Swans. This champagne was mid yellow in colour with a fine mousse. A fruit driven palate with citrus and peach. I don’t drink a lot of Champagne but this was a real crowd pleaser. Full flavoured with 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir. — 3 months ago
IMO it’s the perfect amount of dry. We had it with seasoned, baked chicken. A delicious offering in the $35 range (at time of rating). — 9 days ago

Well worth the wait! Taittinger can be on the brioche-y side, but in this vintage version the fruit and bright acidity shine through, supported by wonderful nutty overtones. Paired it with smoked salmon and herbed goat cheese: so delicious! — 3 months ago

Classic Comtes lemon and brioche, this bottle seemed a little less ebullient than another bottle a few weeks ago, but still very expressive. — 17 days ago
