Perfect balance, silky smooth with just enough tread — a year ago
Outstanding flavor, smooth, smelly. — 4 years ago
Really good at cellar temp. Sophisticated light but with heft and length. A great balancing act — 4 months ago
Complex aromas of red cherry, herbs and spices, cedar. Lively tart cherry acidity, peppery tannins, smooth body. Incredibly balanced for a $12 wine, and more evidence that I like this grape, just not the fruit-bomb oak-bomb CA version! — 2 years ago
Red and dark berries on the nose. Along with a dark tea and some earthiness.
On the palate tart fruit quickly giving way to spice. Then the tannins start to grip and introduce some savory notes.
Finish is a bit bitter but in a way that is inviting more food/drink.
Exceeded my expectations. — a year ago
Well balanced! Adequated body, soft tanines and refreshing! Tannat grape, a classic wind from Uruguay. Approved! — 3 years ago

Definitely a good wine but I wouldn’t say that this riserva is better than the “normal” Barbaresco. Time will tell… — 2 months ago
