The essence of Italian wine and of Sangiovese. Leather and macerated cherry fruit roll up sprinkled with cinnamon and Sandlewood. Bright acidity but in harmony with the deeper earthier aromas and flavors. Had with rib eye steak with rosemary..... perfect pairing. — 7 years ago

Very fruit for a Sfursat, with ripe dark berries and blackberry jam, a touch of kirsch and some leather & spices in the background. On the palate more Sfursat like, the spices and richness comes out yet his one has a juicy acidity that is singing! Impeccably balanced, layered, complex yet elegant and with polished tannins. Ruby red core hint of light orange hue on the rim. Moderate aroma- weak aroma than other valtellina nebbiolo, rosepedal, hint of toasty french oak aroma, sandy earthyness, Rosepedal Med body, med p acid, very smooth, delicate, elegant texture, moderate tanin with complex delicious black fig, dried cherry, smooth, elegant, delicious nebbiolo can introduce to everybody, easy drinking.
