Lovely wine! Very harmonious IGT from Tuscan hill south of Florence. The blend composition; Sangiovese, Merlot and Cab Sauv., which provides an interesting and unique complexity. Dark cherry, raisins, dates on the nose, pleasant acidity and perfectly balanced. Soft tannins and medium dry. Long but not overly lingering finish. Quick fact this wine is from Sting (the singer) vinyard. Great job! — a year ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 7/26-27/25. Nice bouquet and palate of black cherry, strawberry and cardomom. Beautiful mouthfeel. New World. Would easily buy more. Classic tastes and aromas of SLH. — 9 months ago

Color of dark purple, thick looking with decent legs. Nose of chocolate, dark fruits, strawberry, leather, some more blackberries, and fruit acidic note. Taste is smooth, quite mouthful and silky, slightly sweet with soft tannins, some more ripe grapes, borderline grape juice, vanilla, bitter graphite, and cocoa. Aftertaste shows some warmth, medium long. Just a bit watery. Easy to drink with flavors. Nice find at this price tag. — 3 years ago

Opened and poured into a decanter about five hours prior to dinner. Once poured, this was enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2018 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fantastic, winsome notes of black currants, blackberries, Serrano peppers, tobacco, purple Flintstones vitamins, dried herbs, rocky earth and gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and sanguine; laden with ferrous minerals.
The nose alone is sensational but it needs a pile of air to fully appreciate and the monumental structure almost demands it. A wine with a very long life yet ahead. Drink now with an extended decant and through 2058+. — a day ago
