Great blend of Red Mountain grapes by Chris Upchurch and he Delille crew. The 2009 AIX is smooth and delicious Because this is a Syrah-Cab-Mouvadre blend, there’s deep raspberry, anise, espresso and slight oak flavors. Great wine with a beef dinner. — 6 years ago

Big out of the gate with juicy blackberries, cherries, dates and smoke. A bitterness arises with some thick but smooth tannins that carry through with a final touch of acid to the finish. — 7 months ago
