Found this gem in the cellar. Wow the alcohol is banging! But the fruit is still there. Great with lamb chops. — 5 years ago
Fiery red cherry with some forest floor funk and a ton of oak. Pure. Wonderful big, warm cab for date night. — 7 years ago
Very expressive - very small production. — 9 years ago
Hello cloves and white pepper! Still a very approachable wine regardless of intense spice elements. Red licorice and cinnamon presents on the palette. Age for 5-7 years. #napazinfandel #napavalley2015 #zinfandel — 6 years ago
Varozza consistently makes what I consider to be some of the very best red wines anywhere in Napa. The 2012 BloodLine, a blend of 66% Cab Sauv and 33% Petite Sirah, all estate, is truly an accomplishment on the respective parts of grower Jack Varozza and winemaker Kristy Melton. Big and bold yet elegant and easy-drinking, this wine, in my mind, represents the very best of red blends from the storied Napa Valley. Cheers! — 8 years ago
