With a rich, inky hue, delight your senses with aromas of dark berries, enticing violets, and a whisper of exotic spices, leading to a palate as layered as a Shakespearean plot-dark fruits mingling with touches of cocoa and a velvety finish. Fun fact: the vineyard, Vinha Do Fava, is tended by a producer who named the estate after a vintage bicycle; one must appreciate the commitment to endurance, whether on two wheels or in a glass! Now, for delectables: pair this ruby nectar with grilled lamb-oh, the umami! Or a rich, creamy cheese like aged cheddar; the tannins cut through the richness like a well-timed jest.
