This was Minute Maid lemonade mix, violets, and the smell of freshly sanded wood. Really fine acidity and surprising depth. I could sniff these for hours. I kinda did. I think @Carla Hine thought I was weird for doing so. — 2 years ago

Cool Cab Franc! Both as a quality descriptive as well as character.
Black currant, black currant leaf, aronia, graphite, cigar box. So fresh, so enticing. Cool & pure.
On the palate this is light-to-medium bodied, with beautifully polished, dust fine tannins and juicy acidity. Dark fruit, fresh herbs, graphite and a touch of roast. A flower hint perhaps. Incredible depth for such lightness of touch. Purity & precision.
I’m surprised how approachable this is already, and very curious how this will develop.
