Definitely has a crisp Granny Smith apple sweetness but with a short finish so it’s not syrupy. Very nice. — 5 years ago

Alsace Pinot Gris 2016

Light body, acidity, smooth tannins. Tart cherry, smoked meat, and rose petal. The tart red fruit comes to dominate as it stays open in the glass. — 7 years ago

Pannobile Red Blend 2019

Expressive nose with black peppercorns, cloves, crushed rock, a hint of iron & blood, underneath all that - pure black fruit. Fresh, spicy, enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate with ripe, grippy tannins, juicy black fruit acidity and nice purity to the fruit. This has grip, good tension, quite some power and loads of character. Reminiscent of Northern Rhône.
Nice length, too! A brilliant Austrian red!
