This beautiful German Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) is only faintly aromatic with a chalky nose that features mainly limes. The palate gets some apple in with the citrus and has a healthy dose of minerals, too. Acidity is rippingly fantastic and the finish is loaded with fruity wet rocks. — 6 years ago

Should have saved this for Turkey Day. Rich, lush and balanced. Concentrated berries, flinty and freshness. If you find this, grab it. I may have to go back looking for this bottle. I can now understand why this is also know as black reisling. #wine #bechtheimer #schwarzriesling #weinreich #trocken #rheinhessen — 9 years ago

Floral notes of jasmine on the nose. Some citrus, but not quite enough acid for my taste. — 3 years ago
