Excellent example of a northern #Rhône #syrah deep ruby color still youthful, six years after vintage. on the nose, leather black pepper, plum, tart, red cherry, some dark chocolate notes, toast. on the pallet full-bodied, medium+ acidity for fine slightly green tannins finishes long, but I find it a little bit grippy and coarse and bitter, so if it were a little bit smoother and juicy. I would give it a higher score. — 9 days ago

More perfume and more fruit than the Clos du Chapitre. Yes it’s more expensive but it’s worth it. One of the best Mercurey I’ve had. I’m not usually a fan but I found balance and elegance in this one. #mercurey #premiercru — 2 days ago

I’m not particularly a fan of extra brut, but this was nice pretty high acid pretty citrusy, citrus and straightforward. I for one, I particularly like champagne with a little bit of a rounder creamer finish, but cool bottle, tasty champagne, versatile because it’s dry enough you can have it as aperitif, but big and round enough that you can have it with a second course or main course — 6 days ago

Let’s not get two overexcited here. I mean, I had high expectations for this wine because I am actually finding most #Spatburgunder from #Germany quite delicious and more affordable than burgundy, but this was a little bit too thin a little bit too tart. It was kind of lacking the depth and richness and intensity and aromas and flavors that I was hoping for so good but not great — 6 days ago

Super nice #Chardonnay in a Riesling way. Fresh and citrus. #germanchardonnay #german #pfalz — 11 days ago

Beautiful color, fine bubbles, fine mousse, but there’s this kind of weird oaky or brioche toasty Aroma that I don’t really like so it’s either barrels that were too toasted or too much lees battonnage and distracts from the wine and makes you realize it’s not a champagne. other than that pretty tasty — 16 hours ago
