Reduction. Needs 3-4 years in the cellar, will be killer. — a month ago
A but rustic but the fruit is going strong and this is excellent for a Tuesday night with braised brisket. Old school sensibilities. Wild Blackberries. Medium extract, good freshness. — 17 days ago
Pretty tasty for the price. A slight bitter note. Faint melon. Good freshness. Not too round which can be a problem with verdicchio — 22 days ago
Basically etna bianco but just outside the zone so an IGT wine. Intensely mineral with ripping acid. — a month ago
K&L NDA label. Newly bottled 2024, RRV fruit from two westerly sites. Best on day 3. Excellent for $23. Case buy. Wine market is fucked, I can’t keep up with the deals. — a month ago
Orange Aglianico from San Benito County (inland, east of Monterey - some good mountainous/granite terroir down there). Clean. Solid. 11.5%. High acid. Tastes like sweet tarts. Long broad finish. — 18 days ago
13.5% Fruit forward a bit plush and sappy. Darker spicy fruits. Not really my style, but the fruit is clean and fairly pretty. Drink chilled. Fairly versatile food wine despite the overt fruitiness. Solid wine. — a month ago
The most atypical Lambrusco. Basically a brut Rose champagne. Fire. — a month ago

13%. Not the most concentrated or complex wine but impeccably balanced. Fruity but not overdone. Plenty of earthiness. A little hit of tannin and smokiness on the back end. Slight astringency. Burgundian is played when talking about Bierzo but you really can’t help the comparison. These guys are making wine the right way. Chug city. Raul Perez’ nephew, apparently. — 4 days ago
