Dark fruit, with a nice earthiness. A bit tannic and needs more cellar time. — 8 years ago

The nose reminds me of dessert: Raspberry pie (raspberries and baking spices) with currants, grounded with a note of French Roast coffee. On the palate, it's as jammy as the nose foretells, with luscious fruit complemented by a bit of dark chocolate. The finish is long and fruit driven. — 8 years ago
Classic Carlisle extraction. Beautiful nose of black raspberry, Bing cherry, licorice and cardamom infused with a bit of smokiness. Well integrated palate that echoes the nose, with a long fruit-driven finish underscored by tobacco. Well balanced for drinking now and should age well for another five years. — 8 years ago
