Are you kidding me?! Got this at the winery a few years ago. It's unreal how youthful this is. The color has faded to that of a dark Pinot, but very little bricking. Earthy notes, followed by fresh and decayed red fruits, there are still intense tannins that are so well integrated into the wine that it last on the palate for what seems to be hours. Birth year spectacular. #birthyear — 10 years ago

A special wine on a special day. Maybe the best Beaujolais wine I have ever had, but I will reserve that official judgement for a day when I am not sensorily handicapped. The aroma enraptures the nose with a perfume of red berries, subtle spice and a profusion of mineral and rocks.
