#birthyear
When the cork pops an a 30 year old sparkling from NSW it brings joy beyond comprehension.
I'd never tasted anything like it!! — 7 years ago
#birthyear murky brickish red. Still plenty of red and cherry fruit with some interesting spice. On the downward path but a few pleasant beverage. I think Dujac buys this RSV land later on. — 8 years ago

Perfect bottle. Still had red berry fruit tucked into hot earth, olive and smoke. Acid still kept it fresh and ever so juicy. And just the lightest bit of tannin remained to add some texture. Beautiful. #birthyear — 8 years ago
From an almost extinct grape varietal, Terrantez. Lots of sour and bitter notes, burnt blood orange, loads of salty sea air, and raw as oppose to roasted walnuts. An extreme and unique example of Madeira I would think. #birthyear #1977 — 9 years ago
Are you kidding me?! Got this at the winery a few years ago. It's unreal how youthful this is. The color has faded to that of a dark Pinot, but very little bricking. Earthy notes, followed by fresh and decayed red fruits, there are still intense tannins that are so well integrated into the wine that it last on the palate for what seems to be hours. Birth year spectacular. #birthyear — 8 years ago
