Made from purchased grapes. Very pretty style. Restrained and delicate red fruit on the nose. cranberry and raspberry mostly. Lots of cedar and cigar-box aromas too. Palate was soft and lively. Took a bit of breathing (should have decanted), but this Pinot got there! Old World finesse, sous bois-dominant with some ripe cassis. Nice spicy mid-palate, medium length. Purchased at the winery for $61 in 2008. — 9 years ago
