Right out of the bottle, barnyard nose, but after 90 minutes in a decanter, dark fruits, coffee, wild flowers, chocolate, light vanilla, lots of black pepper, spices and licorice.
Dry and spicy on the palate with plums, blackberries, almonds, peppercorn, vanilla, wood, earth and caramel.
Medium to full bodied with great long legs.
Medium plus length on the finish with nice, yet green tannins.
Still young, but will evolve nicely in the next few years but already has enough acidity to balance out the fruits.
15.4% alcohol by volume.
