Sun kisses red fruit, raspberry, red cherry, tart and dried at the same time, white pepper, volatile acidity, red flowers, rubber hose, herbs of Provence, garrique, and oolong on the nose. Used oak, medium acid, medium+ tannin, medium+ alcohol, finishes on VA and candied strawberry. Clean expression of Grenache on sandy soils.

When California Grenache looks in the mirror, this is what it imagines it looks like. Pure, svelte fruit without an ounce of fat and an extra helping of poise. I don't always drink Grenache, but when I do, it's A Tribute To Grace.

May 15th, 2017Pop and poured this right out of the delivery box. It was all wound up, but only needed about 30 minutes of air to start to show some beautiful red fruit and minty herbal goodness. Will hold the other bottles for a while, but seriously enjoyed this wine.

T.A. Returns to S.D. 7/7/2018: Nice Rosé starter on a warm SD evening. Thought I had brought the ‘16, but the ‘14 is still showing well.

Really pretty style. Tight on opening but developing raspberry and cranberry with air. Great with ribeye.
