A wonderful Grenache wine, with a mouth filling taste. Best with heavy meat dishes.

I love this wine and usually drink it the year of release or soon after. I’ve been drinking the 2016 in 2019. But I had left a 2014 in the cellar for a couple of years as an experiment. Tannins have faded too much and it is a bit too soft. They are still there but it seems more fruit forward, a bit jammy. I like a bit more tannic grip. Still has great complexity in the fruit profile, though, and spices and herbs.

Sunday night with the ladies and this french number...plum black cherry and heat to the nose. Fruity plum black cherry to the front palate. Leather and tea to the middle. Light finish...a bit hot but delicious.

Crisp not peppery. Clean but lingers smooth and just the right amount of tinged berry sweetness...enjoyably delicious.

Earthy, tannic, brambles, classic tasting GSM Rhône red. Great finish. Needed a bit of time to open up.

A jammy bouquet. Flavors of meat and smoke dominate. Austere, as expected. Needs some cellar time. Has potential to improve. Good value here, but it can't hold the jock of Le Fiacre du Pape, a CdP which is similarly priced.

Rich, juicy, elegant, and pleasantly tart all at once--quite balanced, great price point. Black cherry, blackberry bramble/seeds, tobacco, cranberry, smooth black pepper. Classic Southern France--Yum!

What a surprise. Tannins, Bouquet, dry. Good pairing with charcuterie and heavy meats
