2012 vintage. A giant Rottweiler puppy that is knocking over everything in the house. Doesn’t know its’ own strength. So damned young, even after a decade. Open for an hour before tasting at 8:00pm but it needed to be opened before lunch. Oopsiedoodles. 3.20.23.

Beautiful nose, deep color. 15.9 ABV! But no alcohol burn, and mid tannins. Bright, dark berries, tobacco and licorice. But not as layered as I am used to expecting from Alban. Really, I'd give this another 2-3 years in the bottle. I think it will shine then - less so now.
