Wonderful balance and depth. A terrific food wine and a highlight bottle to share with friends and family!

This is drinking really well with ripe cherries, chocolate and some herbaceous notes. Cedar and anise on the finish.

Aging very nicely with dark ripe cherries and pepper spice right away. Raspberry and red fruit present. Pairing this with grilled New York steaks.

New Years Eve Brunello paired with venison ragu and Tenderloin with fois gras sauce. A perfect match. 2 bottles to share with the amazing manager Sarah and talented chef Dan. Happy New Year!

Like many of my wines, I believe this was a gift from @Sam Shepard. Not sure what I did to deserve such generosity. Perhaps all those phone calls during the Summer of ‘05. Or maybe plotting out Ozark life ‘20. At any rate, this is very good, pours a nice ruddy color. Tannins definitely grab you; mellow but present spices, and as the great — well not sure he was great but he sure was on TV a lot — Chris Berman once said, “you’re with me, leather.” (Google it.)
