Another easy drinking Cabernet from Lodi. Big, rich and bold with black fruits and chocolate notes, vanilla, wood, spices and caramel.
Dry to off dry on the palate with a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and tangy.
Medium length on the finish with soft tannins.
Good by itself and a good party wine, too.
Aged in Bourbon Barrels for 4 months.
14.8% alcohol by volume.
87 Points.
$8.

Fruity and full, surprisingly good for a cheap wine.

A slap to the tongue if I could ever make the analogy. The bourbon taste comes through very strong, leading to a pretty intense, sharp, lingering alcohol taste. Sweet on the nose, but still packs a punch. Make sure you you have a few boards around drinking this, you’ll want to punch right through ‘em!
