Estate Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

So young. Shows great potential as usual with andersons.

Fine wine, baby! The softer side of full bodied, beautiful restraint and wonderful acidity. This is the Goldilocks of Cabernet Sauvignon from 2011. Not too big, not too herbaceous, not too tight nor too soft. What a treat.

Her nice rounded full palate cab. Drank well

Opened 8hts before serving and one of the better 11’s I’ve had. Well done ACV!

Red and black fruit aromas. The palate is smooth as silk with red raspberries, a touch of blackberries, and some dark currants. Very nice.

Runner up (barely) to a 2011 Montelena in a recent 4+ year old informal Cab tasting. Very much like a Bordeaux, with black raspberry and vegetal notes. Excellent.

Great wine. Had it with a tasting menu. It was awesome.

Very good drinking wine.

Still a little young and fruity. But there are some really nice dark fruit notes and some wood. There's another note in there that I can't place.
