Alto Piedmont may be one of the best places for hang of your buck. Once Nebbiolo hits a certain age it really sings. Rose petal, cherries, and dusty earth notes. Drinking great.

Wonderful Gattinara Nebbiolo from Vallana. Subtle fragrant nose of rose petals and berry's. On the palate it's a hint of licorice and spice but the tannins give it an elegance. Could use another 2 - 5 years to really soften.

Very fruit forward. My first experience with this producer, but wasn’t totally in love with it. A lot of bramble on the nose. Outside of the color, probably wouldn’t have thought it was a Nebbiolo.
