A medium weight, nicely balanced Neb. Shy nose gives up smoky, gravelly notes. Some macerated cherry and menthol underneath. Tart cherry and minerals coat the mouth. Very good acids and a bit of tannin. Structure to age a few more years.

Pretty, elegant Nebbiolo from cool climate old vineyards a ways north of Barolo. Incredible value for this much nimble length, violets, minerality, tawny fruits. Makes me want truffles, great sausages, even morels with peas and grated sheep cheese, a superlative food wine.
