Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Cassis, earth. Violets, rose petals.

Muted nose. Detected faint wood and dark fruits. On the palette, the wine was light and astringent.

2.5 hrs of airtime helped a little, but the patient's vital signs were already faint. Disappointed given the producer and vintage.

Understated for Brunello and very well done. We are a Chianti Classico house, and just love our acid..

2024 vintage. Still fresh could go 20 more years. Cherry syrup, earth. Tobacco. Great finish.

The fruit’s mostly gone. Lots of leather, tobacco, scorched earth and hints of strawberry gliding on fine tannin with a medium finish.

Paprika, drop, vuursteen en een drupje balsamico. Mooi op dronk nu.

Came home just in time for the last sip! Black cherry with minerals and a hint of mocha. Nothing on the front palate but sits wonderfully on the mid palate. Love me some older brunello.

With a little Cavatappi Bolognese. The best.

Enjoyed it on Swee Kee's birthday. An expensive wine - about S$100 now
