Clear, deep ruby in color. On the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, graphite, and green bell pepper. On the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of cherries, eucalyptus, and balsamic with a medium finish. Overall, this wine is intense, complex, and a little out of balance (needs more fruit to balance the bitterness of the tannins). I rate it as good.
