Super interesting white/orange blend. Nose is full of rose and other dried florals, orange blossom, jasmine tea and green unripe nectarine, with the fruit showing better on day 2. Due to 15 days of skin contact, palate is slightly tannic and as a result comes across strongly like a lemony black sun tea, with juicy acidity that lacks an edge. Round, somewhat drying finish. Tough pairing with an Asian salad day 1 and a veggie curry day 2 - this needs something like a simple fish preparation.

Reminds me of condrieu - all pretty and floral on the nose and then straight up minerality on the palate. Might seem like an odd pairing with oyster stew but it actually worked quite well!

Same bottle from Friday night and it's still exploding with herbs and orange blossoms with honeysuckle that's been tempered by a hint of white pepper all with an undercurrent of wet river stones. I'm in love!
