Urban Wines of Sweden has somehow cojnured up this BdM and called it Armatura. If anyone knows more, please enlighten me. 36 mo on barrel and 12 in bottle, 14% alc. The wine is clear and dark red in color; nose is clearly Sangiovese but with more dried red fruit (almost ripasso-esque) including both strawberries and dark cherries, spices, chocolate, and mineral hints; taste is subdued and mild with fine tannins, but elegant fruity with nougat, lemon-pepper. Overall seems well made but with a structure better suited for early drinking than long-term storage.
