Arnot-Roberts
North Coast Trousseau
Great texture. Softly juicy/jammy. Strawberry preserves. Delicate w/great acidity. Almost creamy texture. Very versatile with the Farmer’s tasting menu at Blue Hill.

Dec 9th, 2018A good year for this one. I’d like to cellar a bottle, but doubt any bottles will survive until spring.

Dec 3rd, 2018Be warned this wine is addictive. Cherry candy but good acid and earthy backbone. Comfort wine!

Nov 22nd, 2018So delicious with a little chill on it. There’s an interesting meaty/iron note as well.

Oct 1st, 2018Surprisingly disappointing. Sour, herbal, pickle-y. Better on release.

Nov 28th, 2021I am the contrarian on this board for this wine. Seems sweet to me. The 17 is really not up my alley. At some point A&R’s Trousseau style changed and they lost me or it is just this vintage - Tart then this kind of odd going off strawberries taste it just seems this has seen too much heat in the vintage. Off balance. I can not recommend this.
