My first of 6. Smells like a full bodied Pinot Noir. The palate is rich with a lovely fruit sweetness, cherry and plum, and again, a full bodied Pinot Noir with intensity. Ticks all the boxes. Texture and the tannins are silky. Enough acid and tannin to go another 8 to 10 years. 98 points from HH. Had a 2nd bottle 25 weeks later on 14th September with similar notes. Aromatic red cherries still with that lovely fruit sweetness. Seductive mouth feel.

Still young and didn’t have time to breathe. Nose was closed, showing some black cherry and florals. Brambly black cherry palate with savoury finish and hints of smoked meats. Good but ought to be much better with time.

This actually needed time to open up and get rid of the tart character. Expressive nose of sandalwood, porcini mushroom and red fruit. Herbaceous and a bit funky. Quite sour on the mid palate. Sour cherry gives grip and length. Distinctive. Wanted to like this more

Red berries, green stalks & hints of pepper. Good but not amazing.
