Exquisite balance with incredibly well-integrated oak in the background and lemon, yellow apple, flint, wet stone, peach and guava in the foreground. Beginning to show some development of bottle age with candied lemon and dried apple. Terrific balance of acidity with abundant fruit and exceptional length on the palate. A great success.

We are on the allocation list, but frankly, we are thrilled with the appellation blend, and for the most part steer clear of dropping a kings ransom on the single vineyard bottlings..
Yes, it’s not as nuanced and detailed as the premier bottlings, but in our minds, gets the job done. Honied nose is chased by brioche and deftly balanced sweetness on the mid-palate. Medium acidity suggests that this has runway for several years more.

Sunday Tasting - The most impressive appellation Aubert chard we’ve tasted. It’s vibrant, yet lucious. Sherbet like notes combine with pristine acidity. A very light touch with the wood treatment makes this a truly great example

A perfect complement to our salmon cakes and Asian stir fry. With regards to the Aubert portfolio, at the price, this appellation can’t be beaten in our minds.

Finally! Get to taste what all the hype is about, and found out it is no hype but pure bliss. Pale straw to the eye; very aromatic with pear, apple and citrus on the nose. The pallet is clean, smooth and buttery with fresh peach and lemon-lime flavors. Vibrant finish. This producer has earned a cult status following but completely worth the waiting and the money for that matter.
