Sought out more wines by Austin Hope and here is the Syrah from 2014. It was worth looking for as it is delicious. Lovely blackcurrant flavours balanced with earth, mushrooms and oak. Nose is truffles, vanilla and dark berries. Needs 30 - 60 minutes out of the bottle to develop, after that it’s great. Another great Paso Robles red.

Perfectly fine American syrah. Little too much alcohol and overripe fruit but if that's what you're into, then dive in
