What a great wine! Superb structure, fine tannin. Pretty flowers, herbs and liquorice. Long flavours and perfect acid balance. This is worth the find

This is one if those wines that I wish I had discovered a long time ago. The San Rocco has become one of my favorite Azelia Barolos, with an intense and dark bouquet, showing rich black cherry, savory spices, sweet-dark floral tones and leather. On the palate, this was all about balanced intensity, as a mix of silky textures were contrasted by sweet tannin and brisk acidity; yet a core of concentrated fruit prevailed with strawberry, cherry and plum. Sweet tannin lingered on the finish along with dark fruits and lasting minerality. # Azelia #Barolo

Lots of meat left on this bone. Black cherry, leather, soft incense.
