For me, Alex Sanchez's wines are tied together stylistically by their intense aromatics and lightness of extraction. This choice of using only free-run juice let's the vineyard sites really shine and express terroir. This particular vineyard is in Castiglione Falletto on 250 meters slopes of limestone. Tons of energy with dried dark fruit, and menthol cherry candies. Beautiful.

Pale ruby. Muted aromas though decanted for over an hour. Properly structured for the long haul, but norms at this point. Wait.
