Nothing like this freakish wine. Nose is so in your face with spice, dried nut shells, minerals, prune juice, something primal and meaty. This is so interesting for being so in your face. Not a subtle wine but it does have restraint. Palate is mega rich and super concentrated with awesome freshness and just such thick dense fruit and showing a little heat.

Lovely wine. Black cherry, black raspberry, and has a nose like an aged Primitivio. A bit of heat is noticeable and the wine is light on the attack with an acidic kick and then dense and almost cloying plum note on the midpalate. Long finish but the tannins are a little drying and dense and sneak up on you. An interesting and rare indigenous grape from a region not known for much.

Lovely balanced nose. Crazy spice panapoly as it opens. Cinnamon. Nutmeg.
Palate is dark cherry fruit. Spice. Very fresh.
