Wow. What a wine. Cherry flower galore. Stunning. Soppy cherries galore. Just so pure. 9.6 nose. Smells like Pergole Torte. Wow. Powdered cherry sugar. Sweet, silky, sappy, pure, delineated. Unreal. Best wine I’ve ever had from Costa Archi.

A lovely take on Sangiovese. Nose is a bit closed at this early stage. Palate also has a bit to go but showing beautifully with a decant. It’s really quite a stunning mineral-cherry-floral accord wrapped in grippy tannins. Tar, camphor. Terrific balance and density. Beautiful work. 😍 @Lyle Fass
